I have worked as a Mental Health Counselor throughout the Finger Lakes Region after earning my Counseling degree from the Master’s Counseling program at Alfred University, Alfred, New York. I previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Monmouth University, W. Long Branch, New Jersey. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor I practice Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed, Solution-Focused counseling modalities with many therapy orientations to suit the needs of the clients and families. 

I have enhanced training in Trauma, Abuse (sexual, physical and emotional), Adjustment issues, Adoption, Anxiety, Attachment, Behavioral concerns, EAP, Emotional Distress, Depression, Foster Care, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, School concerns, Stress-based conditions, Substance Use issues, Work/Career related issues, Parenting concerns, and Relationship issues. 

Initial contact will include reviewing New Patient Information, Therapist-client Agreement and Confidentiality information with a discussion of primary concern. Referrals will be available for other services as needed.

Counseling is a collaborative process where the client and Counselor agree on the concern to be addressed, the type of treatment to be utilized, and the outcome desired. Counseling is respectful, private, confidential and positive, to create a relationship where healing and wellness can be enhanced and flourish. Counseling builds on strengths and resiliency as coping skills are learned and integrated to create a more fulfilling life.
